The Bible clearly teaches the responsibility of every church to reach out to others with the good news of the gospel, both in our local community and across the world.

We are thankful to be able to support various areas of missionary activity. One couple that we support oversee the work of seven fields in Southeast Asia. Some of the fields are in restricted countries, so they prefer not to be named. The couple make frequent trips to the fields to encourage and help the missionaries reach unreached peoples in Southeast Asia.

Alex and Giovanna Donnelly (Peru)

Alex went to Peru in 1988 to serve the evangelical church there, particularly in the area of Bible teaching and theological training. He and Giovanna are now based in Trujillo but Alex travels widely. He preaches regularly in a local church, but his main ministry now is online teaching. He offers a range of biblical and theological courses for pastors and church leaders. Over the years he has developed a writing ministry, publishing exegetical and devotional commentaries.

He has launched a new website and hopes to continue adding material that will be helpful for the church throughout the Spanish-speaking world.

Adrian Carey-Jones (Romanian Ministries)

Adrian has long had an interest in Christian Ministry since becoming a Christian during his last year of studying English Literature at the University of Swansea.

After several years of serving as a Church Worker, in May 2016 Adrian took on a new role as Pastor of the Romanian Fellowship he had started with a Romanian friend, Cornel Pelea.

Having previously worked as an auditor and a pastor of an English-speaking church in Bristol, Adrian accepted the call to pastor the Romanian-speaking church. Whilst he has good conversational Romanian, he tends to preach in English with an interpreter. The fellowship meets at United Church (All Saints) in Longwell Green to the east of Bristol.

Adrian is also involved in outreach work with Roma children and charitable work in Romania itself. Romanian Ministries collects and distributes funds to support Christian work there, including relief of the poor.

European Missionary Fellowship (EMF)

The overriding aim of EMF is to establish biblical Christianity throughout Europe. This embraces the work of evangelism, church-planting and supporting gospel churches, at the same time encouraging them to become self-governing and self-supporting. EMF works closely with evangelical churches both in the United Kingdom and abroad in a desire to further the spread of the gospel. To achieve this aim, EMF facilitates the support of both missionaries sent out from the UK and abroad and indigenous pastors and evangelists.

EMF is becoming increasingly involved in translating and publishing good Christian literature to assist those engaged in gospel work and to provide believers across Europe with a little of the wealth of Christian literature available to the English-speaking world.

Sandor Kelemen (Romania)

Sandor is pastor of a church in Hungarian speaking Viisoara, Bihor County, NW Romania bordering Hungary. In addition, Sandor has the oversight of churches in the area at Chet and Albis. Support for Sandor is via the agency of European Mission Fellowship (EMF).

Brana Gospel Focus Ministry

In Ethiopia and beyond, BGFM seeks to restore the gospel to the pulpits by producing and disseminating gospel-centred and Bible-based resources by offering training, seminars, and conferences for the ministers of the word.

Evangelical Press Missionary Trust

The mission of EPMT is to see the message of God’s sovereign grace spread through the nations by making sound biblical teaching resources available in the languages of French and Russian. This includes the translation of books, but also the production of radio programs, seminary courses, Bible conferences, as well as supporting church planting and more.
